this morning I was led to read Romans 8:38-39
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. “
Although things happen in our lives and to the lives of others which we can’t understand or seem to grasp, through these times we are to turn to the Lord. we have no other option, we can’t deal with anything in our own hands and it’s only through the Lords strength that we can get through times of heart break, dispair, troubles, challenges and pain. In the moments we feel of losing hope, may we remember the hope we have in Jesus Christ and His great love that goes beyond what we can understand. May you be reminded of His promises: never will I leave or forsake you, I have plans for your futur-plans for you to prosper-plans to give you hope, delight yourself in me and I will give you the desires of your heart, call on me and I will save you, and the list could go on. search His promises and be reminded of them, may they give you hope. For no matter how far we go from Him, He loves us so much, and I put all my love and faith in Him, trusting and knowing that His hand is on every situation. And through pain and darkness, He will bring hope and light. We can never go far from His love, we just have to be willing to accept it and reach for His hand.
All those that are struggling, feeling hopeless, or grieving I hope you know that Jesus is feeling the same and we don’t have to go through anything alone. We are never alone, for Jesus is with us every step and may we never forget that. May you remember how loved, how valued and how important you are. No matter how you’re feeling today, remember the Lords love goes further than that. It’s hard to find words to say, but I know that the Lord knows the depth of my heart, and moment by moment healing it. May you let the Lord pull you out of whatever pit you feel stuck in, the power of reading His word will pour truth and love into your life. Know it is never to late to reach out for Him whose hand is already reached out towards you.
“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:16-19
