Recieving Eternal Life

“It is not what God has called you to be it’s who He has made you to be: when we live out a calling we are trying to achieve a title but when living out who He has made you to be, you will be transformed into that image”226376318739612047_6FpxNt2I_f

My mind is continually blown as I think about the greatness that lies within me. That through Christ living in me, He is able to do all things. How great is our King that He loves us all so intimatley, that He desires us to live a life full of grace and blessings. That He died so we may live. He died so we could be propelled into our destinies. He died so we could live life redeemed, forgiven and with eternal life. Jesus did not come to condem the world but to save it. He did not come to bring a law but to fulfill the law and bring us an eternal sacrifice of His life so we could be forgiven for the wrong we do when accepting Him into our hearts. For the only way to have eternal life and come to the Kingdom of Heaven is through accepting Jesus as our Saviour. To allow that whom is eternal life come into our hearts so we may we be children of God and through that inheriting His Kingdom.

I am so grateful that I was made in the image of God, that as I continue to walk in His ways and light, that my heart is continually being filled with who He is: kindness, joy, faithfulness, gentleness, humility, self control, love, redemption, salvation, patience and truth. That I am no longer under bondage of sin (the wrong I do) but am forgiven through Jesus’s death on the cross. For Jesus died so the devil would no longer have any hold onto those who accept Jesus in to their hearts. For when I recieved Jesus, I recieved forgivness of all the wrong things I did, have done and still do but am no longer fearful of Hell. For when Jesus died, He became Saviour of the World. Those who accept Him are made right before the Lord. Jesus is the way to Heaven, He is the truth we must live in and the life in which we are all in desperate need for, because without His life, we are all dead to sin.

Jesus is the ultimate King. He can fill every crevice in our heart with His abounding love. He can carry us through our problems and hard times. He has promised that He will never leave or forsake us. He loves us even though we do things wrong. He died even while we were still sinners so we could choose true life. He is the perfect King for He see’s us as worthy of all He has to offer. He doesn’t care the  mistakes we’ve made,  because He see’s us as worthy to be cleansed of that. He desires us to come to Him as we are, we don’t need to feel unworthy because of the things we have done or are doing, because Jesus died so we don’t have to feel that way, to feel guilty or shameful. Jesus died so we could be forgiven and set free into our destiny. For we can only fulfill our God given purpose and destiny if we are living with God Himself.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” Acts 16:31

We are all seeking a purpose, we all have pieces in our heart that nothing has ever been able to satisfy and that is because we have been looking in all the wrong places. For we were made in the image of God, He himself is that which our souls long for, to know and be in a relationship with. We all have voids in our hearts, brokeness and pain in which only the Lord can heal and make new. We can keep trying to mend ourselves with fillers from things of this world or we can go to the true fullness of God and find wholeness. For we are valued, our lives matter and we have an eternal destiny. When coming into a relationship with the King we are able to see the value we hold. For Jesus died so we may come back into relationship with God as His children, no longer orphans trying to find purpose and value to themselves in the world but coming back into relationship with our true Father. Who once accepting into our hearts and lives will begin to transform us to the image we were created to be. Jesus came to set us free, set us free from the bondage of sin and devil, to set us free so we could come back into our purpose-to be in a relationship with God, our Father.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Never think that to accept Jesus is to have to follow  laws. When accepting Jesus, you can come to Him exactly where you are in life. For Jesus died for all to recieve eternal life, He died for you. When accepting Jesus you are truly believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confessing that as well. He loves you and died for you so that you may have eternal life and a restored realtionship with the Creator. By choosing Him we no longer have to be fearful of death or hell because we have recieved eternal life through Jesus. Jesus died so that we may be forgiven.  He loves you and to Him you are worthy.

“Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ”  John 17:3
