There was a city where many chose to live in poverty rather than in the Kings palace that was freely opened to all. However most of them saw themselves as unworthy to live in such beauty, they saw themselves as filthy, as not redeemable so they choose to remain living in their old ways instead of recieving a new, beautiful, radiant life. One day you decided you walked by the palace, gazing at the radiant Kingdom the front doors swing open and the Prince came running out, calling out to you as He reached His hand out towards you, “come, come live with us! all is yours, take my hand and come recieve.” As you look into His warm eyes you desperatley reach for His hand. He brings you into His Kingdom rejoicing as He washes your feet, removes your filthy rags and tenderly cleanses you, then takes off His own robe and places it on you. “All that is My Fathers, I give to you. For as He is my Father, He is also yours now. You are not a servant, no, you are a child, a heir of Our Kingdom. As I freely give-freely recieve and live with us!” You stand staring at Him as you studder, “But..how..it doesn’t make sense?’ He looks at you and smiles, “But my beloved, this is grace. Although you don’t deserve it, it is given to you. For it is through My Fathers loving kindness and mercy, you can’t do anything to earn it but recieve it and partake with us in this Kingdom. For My Father looked out and saw you, sayind “I want her, I want that one!!” So He sent me to go out and gather those who live in poverty back into His Kingdom.”
For Our God is merciful, He is loving, He is boundless in love and grace. For He loves us exactly as we are, but loves us to much to leave us how He finds us. For if we go through our lives with hopes of saving ourselves, of being able to earn our way into His Kingdom of Heaven, we will always fall short. For it is only through God’s grace that we have access into His Kingdom through accepting the gift of Jesus Christ and His blood that was shed so we may live, partaking in His Kingdom. For when Jesus died on the cross, He removed our filthy rags, cleanses us with His blood and took of His robes for us to freely wear. The only question is, are you going to recieve all that He is offering you?
For I was once living in poverty, I thought I wasn’t worthy of His grace. I thought I could save my life but instead I was destroying it. Instead of living in freedom, I was bound in the chains of sin, in hopelessness, addictions and destructive habits. For it wasn’t until I saw His hand reaching out to me that I knew I needed His grace, for I was never the answer to my problems, neither was anything in this world, Christ was and still is. By His grace He opened my blind eyes so I could see life without Him and how despertaly I needed Jesus, my Savior. By His grace I was able to let go of destructive and addictive habits and chose Him, chose life. Instead of death, I have recieved eternal life-For Jesus took away the sin that I have done and He died the death I should of. Jesus came by God’s grace to remind us who wer are, not what we’ve one. He came to bring us back our identity as sons and daughters, not slaves and servants.
For although I wasn’t worthy of my own doings, God saw me as worthy of it all. For no matter where you are in life, what you have done or haven’t done, His grace is enough. For God is looking at you saying I want that one, I want you, I want you to come home. For by His grace He is freely offering you all that He has.
For I am who I am by His grace. I am no longer hopeless or seeking a way, for I have found the way-Jesus Christ. His grace is enough, Jesus is enough, He died so their will always be enough. All we must do is recieve His life and accept Jesus as Lord, for Jesus is Lord.
For Christ is standing reaching out His hand, “By grace you can live, come…come with me. All that you are seeking, here you will find. My grace is enough and you were why I died, for you are worthy my child. No matter where you are, what you are doing or have done, freely recieve my life so that you too may live.”
“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” Ephesians 2:4-8
